I have truly enjoyed the journey this soapy venture has provided through the years.  However, due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of in-person festivals and events I have decided to close  Poplar Ridge Specialty Soap.

I have loved the experience and friends I have had the pleasure of meeting and look forward to our world returning to safe and fun events again in the future!

Poplar Ridge Specialty Soap has been proudly offering a collection of handcrafted natural soap since 2016.  The luxurious lather and gentle cleansing are created by using high quality ingredients found in nature. Each bar is handmade in small batches with vegan oils and butters such as coconut, olive, and Shea which are known for the nourishing benefits they provide to your skin.  The lovely  scents are created with quality essential oils which have many wonderful properties and smell delightful!  Coloring and decorations found in and on the bars are created using natural ingredients such as dried herbs and various types of clay found around the world.  You will never find fragrance oils, dyes, or harsh chemicals in a bar of Poplar Ridge soap!

How We Started

​

After years of enjoying handcrafted soap and the beauty of natural products and ingredients I decided to try making it myself.  I had learned about essential oils while working at a spa, used them through the years in my personal life, and definitely wanted to incorporate them in to the soap.  I gave the first few batches away as gifts at the holidays and they were enthusiastically received.  After that I was hooked on creating lovely scents and pretty bars with the challenge of sticking to only natural ingredients. 

So, that is what it has become: handcrafted, artisan soap scented with essential oils and colored with only natural ingredients.  

You can feel good knowing that you can recognize and pronounce all the ingredients in the soap you are using.
